Sing It Ltd – Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing or redeeming a Sing It gift voucher or taking part in any of our experiences. By placing an order or booking an experience, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you have any questions, please contact us at contact@sing-it.co.uk or call 0121 285 6966.

 

1. Gift Vouchers and Validity

  • All Sing It gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
  • To book your experience, contact us by phone, email, or through our website at www.sing-it.co.uk.
  • A Sing It Voucher can be extended one time only for a fee of £20 provided it has not expired.
  • Once issued, it is your responsibility to keep your voucher safe, as it may need to be presented on or before your session date. Lost or unreadable vouchers cannot be replaced.


 

2. Booking and Personal Information

  • You must ensure all information provided during booking or voucher redemption is accurate and up to date. We use this information to contact you about your booking, rescheduling, or other important details.
  • We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect information supplied at the time of booking.
  • If your details change, please let us know as soon as possible.
  • When you book or redeem a voucher, you consent to us sharing necessary information with the studio staff delivering your experience. We do not share personal details with unrelated third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

 



3. Delivery of Gift Packs

  • Gift voucher packs are sent by First Class Royal Mail and typically arrive within 1–3 working days.
  • Most orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day.
  • Special Delivery orders must be placed before 2pm to guarantee next day delivery
  • Sing It Ltd is not liable for postal delays or losses beyond our control. If you have not received your pack within 5 working days, please contact us and we’ll investigate.

 



4. Experience Locations and Content

  • All Sing It experiences take place in a professional commercial studio in Birmingham, UK. Our studio is close to the city centre with plenty of parking.
  • Photos and videos on our website are provided for illustration only; actual studio and setup may differ slightly.
  • Studio facilities, staff and availability vary depending on booking date. If an advertised extra is unavailable, we’ll offer an alternative of equal or greater value, or refund that portion to the original purchaser.
  • We always aim to allocate the best available studio for your booking based on your experience type (solo, party, band, etc.).

 


 

5. Transfers, Refunds, and Upgrades

  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and no refunds are offered for unused time or partially completed sessions.
  • If you purchased a voucher in error, you may return it within 14 days of purchase for a refund (minus a £20 administration and postage fee).
  • After this period, refunds are not available, but you may transfer your voucher to another person.
  • To arrange a transfer, contact us with the voucher reference and new recipient details. We’ll verify the request with the original purchaser.
  • Open vouchers can be purchased and redeemed toward any available experience or extras. Once redeemed, the 12-month validity period begins.
  • Transfers or upgrades do not extend voucher validity.

 


 

6. Booking Changes and Cancellations

  • Experience durations are approximate and may vary slightly; please allow extra time.
  • Sing It Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any session for operational or safety reasons. If this happens, we’ll contact you promptly to rearrange another date. We do not reimburse travel or other expenses due to rescheduling.
  • You must arrive on time for your booking. Late arrivals may lose part or all of the session.
  • Cancellations by the customer within 72 hours (3 days) of the booked session will invalidate the voucher and no refund will be given.
  • Singer and musician experiences may be rescheduled free of charge up to 72 hours before the session.
  • Party experiences cancelled after booking confirmation will forfeit the deposit. We can reschedule party bookings up to 7 days before the event date (within the voucher’s validity).
  • Failure to attend a session without notice will void the voucher.

 


 

7. Age, Guests, and Behaviour

  • The minimum age for participation is 8 years, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Up to four guests may attend recording sessions. All must arrive together and behave appropriately throughout.
  • Disruptive behaviour may result in termination of the session and invalidation of the voucher.
  • No pets or young children (babies/toddlers) are permitted in studios.
  • Participants are responsible for any damage caused through negligence and must settle any charges directly with the studio.
  • Drug use is strictly prohibited. Alcohol may be permitted in moderation at the studio manager’s discretion.

 



8. Booking Availability

  • Dates and times are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and can vary between studios.
  • Please allow at least 30 days’ notice between redeeming your voucher and your preferred session date, as the studios can be busy.
  • During peak periods, the wait for available dates may exceed 30 days, so please book early.

 


9. Song Choices and Music Preparation

  • Singing experience packages include a set number of backing tracks.
  • You will choose your songs when redeeming your voucher, and we will send the tracks for practice if required.
  • If you receive the wrong version or an unfamiliar track, let us know at least 72 hours before your session.
  • Requests to change or add songs after this point may incur a small fee per track.
  • You may bring your own backing track, but we cannot guarantee the same recording quality as with our supplied tracks.
  • We ensure all Sing It tracks are high quality and as close to the original songs as possible. Some rare or unreleased tracks may not be available — we’ll let you know if an alternative is needed.
  • Musicians must bring their own instruments and amplification unless otherwise arranged. The studios can provide some equipment for free or hire; hire fees are payable directly to the studio.

 


 

10. Media, Recordings, and Copyright

  • By attending a Sing It experience, you consent to the use of audio, video, and photos from your session for promotional purposes (e.g., our website, Facebook, YouTube, or other marketing channels).
  • We will never publish full names and only use suitable images.
  • All recordings, videos, and photos remain the property of Sing It Ltd.
  • CDs or digital recordings provided are for personal use only and must not be duplicated, sold, or distributed without appropriate licences from the MCPS/PRS Alliance.
  • Customers are fully responsible for ensuring their use of any backing tracks complies with UK copyright law.

 


 

11. Performance and Satisfaction

  • The final recording outcome depends on factors such as performance ability, preparation, and the time available during your session.
  • Our producers and engineers will guide you to achieve the best possible result, but we cannot guarantee satisfaction if issues arise from lack of rehearsal or time constraints.
  • Our studios operate to professional standards and produce broadcast-quality recordings.
  • If you are unhappy with your experience or recording quality, please contact us so we can review and address your concerns.
