Sing It Ltd – Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to have complete confidence when purchasing or redeeming a Sing It gift voucher or booking one of our experiences. Please read this policy carefully so you understand how refunds, returns, transfers, and cancellations work. If you have any questions, contact us at contact@sing-it.co.uk or call 0121 285 6966.
1. Voucher Validity
- All Sing It gift experience vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Vouchers can be extended one time only for an admin fee of £20. Voucher extensions are for up to 6 months from original purchase date.
- Vouchers can only be extended if they have not already expired. Please contact us if you need to extend you expiry date.
- Once issued, the voucher becomes your responsibility. Lost, damaged, or unreadable vouchers cannot be replaced.
2. Delivery & Lost Packs
- Gift voucher packs are sent by First Class Royal Mail and usually arrive within 1–3 working days.
- Orders received before 4pm are generally dispatched the same day.
- Special delivery postage can only be guaranteed if order is placed before 2pm.
- We cannot be held responsible for postal delays or loss once dispatched in good time.
- If your pack hasn’t arrived within 5 working days, contact us and we’ll investigate.
3. Returns & Refunds
- If a voucher or experience was purchased in error, you may return the unused pack within 14 days of purchase for a refund.
- A £20 administration and postage fee will be deducted to cover processing costs.
- Refunds can only be issued once the original voucher pack has been received by Sing It Ltd (at your expense).
- Refunds are not available after 14 days. However, vouchers can be transferred to another participant (see section 4).
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or downgraded for a partial refund.
- No refund will be made for any unused time during an experience.
4. Transfers & Upgrades
- You may transfer a voucher to another person. To arrange this, please contact us with the voucher reference and the new recipient’s details. We’ll verify the request with the original purchaser.
- Vouchers can also be upgraded to include extra participants or additional time. Contact our head office (not the studio) to arrange this.
- Transfers and upgrades do not extend the original 12-month validity period.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Singer and musician experiences may be rescheduled free of charge up to 72 hours (3 days) before the booked session.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the session will invalidate the voucher and no refund will be given.
- Party experiences cancelled after the booking confirmation email has been issued will forfeit the booking deposit. However, we can reschedule a party up to 7 days before the scheduled date (within the 12-month validity period).
- Failing to attend your session without notice will also invalidate your voucher and no refund will apply.
- Sing It Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions for operational reasons. If this happens, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to rearrange another suitable date. We do not cover travel or other costs resulting from rescheduling.
6. Booking Information & Customer Responsibilities
- You must ensure all information you provide when booking or redeeming a voucher is correct. This allows us and our partner studios to contact you with booking or rescheduling details.
- If any information changes, please notify us promptly. We are not responsible for missed communications due to incorrect details.
- Directions and studio addresses are provided once your session is confirmed. It’s your responsibility to arrive on time. Late arrivals may lose part or all of their allocated time.
7. Experience Content & Locations
- All experiences take place at our professional recording studios in Birmingham, UK.
- Facilities, options, and availability vary by booking date. If an extra or feature is unavailable on your chosen date, we’ll offer an equivalent replacement or refund that portion of the cost to the purchaser.
- Photos and videos on our website are for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual experience.
- We always aim to allocate the most suitable studio available for your session.
8. Open Gift Vouchers
- Open vouchers can be purchased and later redeemed for any available experience or add-ons.
- Additional funds can be added if the chosen experience exceeds the voucher value.
- Open vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and have no expiry date until redeemed.
- Once redeemed, the resulting experience voucher will be valid for 12 months from the date of redemption.
9. Non-Refundable Items
We cannot offer refunds for:
- Used or partially used vouchers.
- Experiences missed due to late arrival, illness, or personal scheduling conflicts.
- Extras such as additional participants, vocal coaching, or photoshoots that were cancelled within 72 hours of the session.
